Nice song? Do you actually get the message behind this song?

Anyway, I think the song is quite nice, brings back memories when I used to sing it in primary school during the run-up to the National Day celebration in school.

National Day songs nowadays, in my opinion, are usually crap!! They are too pop-inclined and does not ignite much patriotism from singing it. Most folks forget about it the moment NDP's over.

Try asking someone in the streets to sing one of these "new" songs and see if they can do it. At the same time, try asking those in their late 20s to 30s to sing one from their era and see what you get....

"Make You Mine" is the 3rd Track, a boxing training track of Body Combat 47 (the most recent release). Here's the unplugged version, extremely enchanting song, if you asked me.

I kind like the lyrics, can anyone help me find them and give me the URL? I tried searching around but can't seemed to get anything. :(

"Lucky" simply describes my feelings in recent days as we count down to our nuptials!! I can't help but think of how lucky I am to have found this soulmate, companion, low-maintenance, simple-lifestyled, down-to-earth woman whom had agreed to spend the rest of her life with me.

I cannot imagine how she is able to tolerate me.. but well, she's managed to and is prepared to do so until the end of our time. There are many things that I can imagine us doing/experiencing together. Perhaps I should make a list of all these things lest I missed out any.

Believe it or not, listening to this track and typing this post, my eyes started getting moist....

PS : I'm 99.9% sure I'm gonna have this song at our wedding.

Mando-Jazz

I've recently bought a CD of Mandarin songs remixed in Jazz by the High Society label. 2 CDs for 40SGD, not too expensive for me. The only thing is that I've not bought a CD for the longest of time...

The music inside the 2 CDs inside is pretty decent, with CD 1 containing more of my preferred tracks. One particular track really caught me, CD 1 Track 2, 黄昏 by 周传雄. This is a pretty sad song, and as pointed out by SO, a sad song remixed in Jazz, simply makes it even sadder... At least she thinks so, I don't.

My apologies for folks out there who are unable to read Mandarin. Basically, the name of the song is "Dusk", sang by a Taiwanese Singer....
