During the recent PC Show, M1 was offering a 50% discount on all their Mobile Broadband(MBB) plans. With my pleasant experience during the 6mth 'trial' where I was on its 2Mbps plan, its a no brainer for me to 'take the plunge' and enjoy the 50% offer. By the next day, I'm a proud user of M1's 7.2Mbps MBB.
However, I've no idea what I've gotten myself into....
Firstly, I found that :
1. surfing was extremely slow
2. download very slow
3. I can barely run 3 internet utilizing simultaneously
A bandwidth speed-test at Speedtest.net finally proved that I'm indeed being short-changed in terms of bandwidth!
I called M1 last week to complain about the problem...I just called M1 to complain about the MBB problems again. I also mentioned that I'm very unhappy to be paying for a 7.2Mbps line when I'm only able to utilize only 1Mbps.
The CSO had me on hold while she checks her records and all... when she returns, this was her what she had for me : "Mr Lee, I've checked our records and it indicates that our Engineering Department had been informed. They will check on your feedback and revert soon. In view of the charges, we will waive them off for this month.
I'M WALKING ON SUNSHINE, WOOOHHH
